Why Abosto exists
Built for my father first
My father ran businesses that couldn't afford proper software or hardware. As a boy, I wished I could build something that made his life easier. So I learned to program and built POS systems — more than once. At university, my final-year POS CRM impressed the whole panel. It didn't impress me. I knew I'd built it wrong, and I knew what was missing: real experience. So after graduation I joined a consulting firm and spent years learning how good software is actually made — standards, security, architecture — across many industries.
Then I started Abosto. Sleepless nights. Going back to the drawing board more often than I went to sleep. What came out the other side is config-driven and data-driven, so it can fit almost any business. The truth is, we can't build every business owner a dedicated interface. But we can give you one you can shape to your own business.

Most POS systems treat offline as an afterthought. We built ours assuming the network isn't there. Every transaction processes locally first, syncs to the cloud when possible, and reconciles automatically — no data loss, no waiting.
Our multi-tenant architecture gives each business its own isolated database — not just a tenant ID filter on shared tables. This means full data sovereignty, independent backups, and zero risk of cross-tenant data leaks.
