1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Abosto ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Abosto provides a cloud-based retail management platform including point-of-sale, inventory management, back-office administration, and related tools. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Share your account credentials with unauthorised users.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload or create through the Service. We do not claim ownership of your business data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid features are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. You may cancel your subscription at any time, which will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abosto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of South Africa, unless both parties agree to binding arbitration.
