Abosto discovers what's attached, you give each one a name and a job, and the till prints to the job rather than the device. Swap a printer and nothing else changes.

Label printing goes through the printer's Windows driver, which covers the common Zebra, TSC and Godex class printers. Sending a label printer its own native command language is on the list, not built. Hardware runs on Windows.
Card machines stay exactly as they are. Abosto rings up the sale and records how it was paid; your machine settles on its own network. We're not affiliated with any payment provider.
VAT
Per item, not per shop
Each item carries a class. Your shop carries the rate. The till puts the two together on the device, because the class and the rate both travel with the catalogue.

Set it per product, or override it on a single variant. The server recalculates every line, so a till can't get it wrong. Abosto gives you the controls and the audit trail; it isn't tax advice.
Four languages, and room for the ones you ask for.
English, Afrikaans, isiZulu and Amharic. Adding another is a translation file, not a rebuild, so the limit is good translation, not engineering.
We're being deliberate about it. We'd rather ship three languages a native speaker has signed off than ten that read like a machine wrote them.
